The Community Foundation of South Georgia has awarded the sixth round of annual grants through the South Georgia Legacy Fund to nonprofit organizations located within our 35-county footprint. The time of year has come again for teachers within the Brooks County, Thomas County and Thomasville City School Systems to apply for mini-grants through the Community Foundation’s Public Education Funds. Grants awarded will be up to $500 to be used for Spring 2024 classroom projects not covered by school budgets.
Deadline to Apply: Friday, November 3rd @ 12pm

The Hosea Hall & Lilly Eason Vann Fund for Thomas County is now accepting applications from nonprofit organizations whose primary office and/or services are located in Thomas County! This will be the fourth annual grant cycle from this fund. A total of $8,500 will be awarded through this program in 2023.

The Community Foundation is excited to announce that all of our scholarship applications can now be accessed through our Online Scholarship Portal! We currently manage over 40 scholarship funds that provide annual scholarship awards to graduating high school seniors in South Georgia and students currently enrolled in a college or university in the United States.
