The Community Foundation has established the COVID-19 Relief Fund to to accept and strategically disburse funds to nonprofit organizations on the frontlines of the COVID-19 response effort in South Georgia. Through this fund, the Community Foundation will provide flexible resources to organizations that have strong experience working to provide South Georgia’s most vulnerable residents with access to food, healthcare and other basic needs.
As a result of recent school closings due to COVID-19, the Community Foundation will extend the deadline for all scholarship funds with an April 1st deadline to April 15th. In addition, the March 27th deadline for the Grady County Public Education Fund will be extended until April 17th.
The Hosea Hall and Lilly Eason Vann Fund for Thomas County is now accepting applications from nonprofit organizations whose main office and/or services are located in Thomas County.
