The Hosea Hall & Lilly Eason Vann Fund for Thomas County has completed its 7th annual grant cycle. The Community Foundation is pleased to announce it has awarded $10,700 to eight organizations in Thomas County this year. The time of year has come again for teachers within the Brooks County, Grady County, Thomas County and Thomasville City School Systems to apply for mini-grants through the Community Foundation’s Public Education Funds. Grants awarded will be used for Spring 2027 classroom projects not covered by school budgets.
Application Deadline: Thursday, October 29, 2026 by 5PM
This Fall, the Community Foundation will award grants between $2,000 and $5,000 through the South Georgia Legacy Fund to nonprofit organizations across our 35-county service area. An overall total of $100,000 will be awarded in 2026 through this program. Click below for more info on how to apply!

Grants between $1,000 and $2,000 will be awarded in August of 2026 to support programs that improve the quality of life in the Thomas County community.
