County Specific Scholarships
Multiple Counties
For graduating seniors from a high school located in South Georgia or college students who are currently enrolled in a college or university located in South Georgia and have attained at least a 2.5 GPA in high school or college.
High School student applicants must intend on majoring in Environmental Science. College student applicants must already be enrolled as an Environmental Science major. Environmental Science majors include but are not limited to Biology, Forestry, Wildlife or Botany.
Awards are based on Academics, Leadership Qualities, Extracurricular School Activities, Community Service and Financial Need.

For graduating seniors from a high school located in South Georgia within the service area of CFSGA who have attained at least a 2.5 GPA in high school. Awards are based on academics, leadership qualities, extracurricular school activities, character, community service and personal integrity, and financial need.

For graduating high school seniors or students currently enrolled in or attending a post-secondary college or university in the United States, that has attained at least a 2.5 GPA in high school or college. The student, parent(s) or legal guardian(s) of the student must have their primary residence or a place of business in the Mitchell EMC service area. Awards are based on financial need, academic achievement, extracurricular school activities or employment, community service, and leadership qualities. Bacon County
For a graduating senior of Bacon County High School in Alma, Georgia who has attained at least a 3.0 GPA in high school. The award is based on Academics, Leadership Qualities, Extracurricular School Activities, Community Service, and Financial Need.

Brooks County
For graduating seniors of Brooks County High School in Quitman, Georgia and continuing education for teachers employed a minimum of one year with the Brooks County School System in Quitman, Georgia.
Graduating seniors must have attained at least 2.5 GPA in high school. High School student scholarship awards are based on extracurricular activities, earned honors, community service, recommendations from teachers, and financial need.
Teacher scholarship awards for continuing education are based on extracurricular involvement with the students, satisfactory classroom performance rating as evidenced by student progress, and financial need.

Colquitt County
For a graduating senior of Colquitt County High School in Norman Park, Georgia who is enrolled in or intends to enroll in one of the following top eight institutions within the University System of Georgia: Georgia Institute of Technology, University of Georgia, Georgia State University, Augusta University, Kennesaw State University, Georgia Southern University, University of West Georgia, or Valdosta State University. Applicants must have earned a minimum high school GPA of 3.50, achieved a minimum score of 1050 on the SAT or 20 on the ACT, and demonstrate financial need in their application. The award is based on Financial Need, Academic Achievement, Leadership Qualities, Extracurricular School Activities, Community Service, and Moral Character.

For a graduating senior of Bainbridge High School in Bainbridge, Georgia who has attained at least a 3.0 GPA in high school. The award is based on Academic Performance, Leadership Qualities, Character, School and Extracurricular Activities, Community Service, and Financial Need.

Dougherty County
- For a graduating senior from a public high school located in Albany, GA or a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church located in Albany, GA. All applicants must have a minimum high school GPA of 2.50. The award is based on Academics, Leadership Qualities, Extracurricular School Activities, Character, Community Service, Personal Integrity, and Financial Need. Special consideration will be given to members of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church. This scholarship is given by the family of Caroline Cobey Goodwin, in loving memory of Ms. Mary Smith Gay.

Early County
For a college student who has either graduated from a high school located in Early County, Georgia, or who is a current resident of Early County, Georgia. Applicants must have completed at least two years in a post-secondary college or university in the United States and have attained at least a 2.5 GPA in the post-secondary college or university. The award is based on academic achievement, financial need, extracurricular school activities or employment, community service, and leadership qualities.

For a graduating senior of Early County High School in Blakely, Georgia, who has attained at least a 3.5 GPA in high school unless unusual circumstances exist as determined by the Scholarship Committee and the student has attained at least a 3.0 GPA in high school. The award is based on financial need, personal integrity and character, extracurricular school activities or employment, community service, and academic achievement.

Grady County
For graduating seniors of Cairo High School who have been outstanding instrumental students and members of the Cairo High School Band.
Awards are based on financial need, scholastic achievement, band achievement, extracurricular school and community activities, work ethic, and leadership qualities.
This fund also assists students who are unable to afford the cost of obtaining their primary musical instruments to play in the band, assists in purchasing music for the high school band program, and assists in purchasing non-musical equipment for the band program.

For a graduating senior of a public high school located in Valdosta, Georgia who has attained at least a 3.0 GPA in high school. The award is based on Academics, Leadership Qualities, Extracurricular School Activities, Community Service and Financial Need. Special consideration will be given to applicants from an underrepresented minority population as well as applicants who intend to major in Business, Accounting, Finance, Management or another business-related field of study.

For a graduating senior of Valdosta High School in Valdosta, Georgia who has attained at least a 3.0 GPA in high school. The award is based on Academics, Leadership Qualities, Extracurricular School Activities, Community Service and Financial Need. Special consideration will be given to applicants who are members of the Gnann A. Moser English Honor Society at VHS as well as applicants who intend to major in English or Education.

For a graduating senior of Westwood Schools located in Camilla, Georgia who has attained at least a 3.0 GPA in high school. Awards are based on leadership abilities, community service and financial need.

Other Scholarships
For dental hygiene students and Registered Dental Hygienists who are enrolled in an accredited Dental Hygiene School in Georgia, reside in the state of Georgia and intend to practice in Georgia for two years following graduation. Applicants must have completed at least one quarter or semester of study in the dental hygiene curriculum and have maintained at least a 3.0 GPA and demonstrate financial need.

Church Affiliated Scholarships
For a graduating high school senior who is an active member of the Little Ochlocknee Baptist Church, with membership established at least two (2) years prior and has attained at least a 3.0 GPA in high school.
APPLICATION DEADLINE: APRIL 1st
For a student enrolled in a Georgia Methodist Seminary or Asbury Theological Seminary. Additionally, Georgia residents enrolled in an online program of a Seminary approved by the Methodist Church may also apply. Applicants must be enrolled or intend to enroll in a Georgia Methodist Seminary, Asbury Theological Seminary, or if a Georgia resident, an online program of an approved seminary. All applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.50 and reside in the United States. The award is based on Academics, Leadership Qualities, Extracurricular School Activities, Character, Community Service, Personal Integrity and Financial Need.

For a high school graduate who is also a member of a church which is part of the Tucker Baptist Association. The applicant must be enrolled in a seminary, Bible college, or other educational institution where they are training for a Christian gospel ministry vocation. This may include but is not limited to, training as a pastoral minister, youth minister, music minister, educational minister, or foreign or home missionary. The training may be a degree program such as a Masters of Divinity, etc., or the training may be a seminar or educational course related to ministry development.

Non-Traditional Scholarships
For students at a Georgia University including Mercer University, Emory University, University of Georgia School of Law and Georgia State University who demonstrate high academic achievement in all real-estate-related courses and show commitment to the highest standards in real estate practice.
This scholarship benefits the following organizations and their students: Camilla Schools, Inc., Pelham City Board of Education, Mitchell County 4-H Club, and Mitchell County Board of Education.
For a student who graduated or will graduate from an accredited Georgia high school; has enrolled or intends to enroll in the University of Georgia’s School of Forest Resources pre-professional program of study and if enrolled, has three quarters or more or two semesters or more remaining before becoming eligible to enter the School of Forest Resources as a professional student; has been in the top academic half of his or her high school graduating class and if one or more quarters or semesters of college have been completed, must have maintained at least a 3.0 GPA.
For an Art student at Andrew College in Cuthbert, Georgia given in loving memory and honor of Chelsea Rae Langford. The award is partially dependent upon the student’s love of art and compassion for people and is not necessarily dependent upon academic achievements or financial need.
