Mini-Grants for Classroom Projects Available – Apply Now!
Attention Brooks County, Grady County, Thomas County and Thomasville City School System Educators!
It’s that time of year again – The Community Foundation of South Georgia is now accepting applications for another annual round of teacher mini-grants through the Robert Warde Chambers Scholarship and Public Education Fund for Brooks County Schools, the Grady County Public Education Fund for Grady County Schools, and the Community Public Education Fund for Thomas County and Thomasville City Schools.
Mini-Grant Award amounts will be up to $500 for Brooks County, Thomas County and Thomasville City School system educators. Grady County educators can apply for mini-grants of up to $1,000 and maxi-grants of up to $5,000.
These nonprofit initiatives aim to promote academic excellence in three public school systems in South Georgia through grants that can be used toward Spring 2026 classroom projects not funded by normal school budgets. Grants will be awarded in December 2025.
