Applying For Scholarships

The Community Foundation of South Georgia is proud to administer over 40 scholarship funds that are available to students living in the South Georgia area and beyond.   We are committed to assisting students in our community achieve their dreams of higher education.  A complete listing of all the scholarships we offer and their applications can be found by visiting Our Scholarships page or by clicking the link below.  Many applications for scholarships offered to high school students may also be found in the school’s Guidance Office.

The deadline for many applications is April 1st of each calendar year, but some are due as early as March 1 st.  Applications for scholarships exclusive to Grady County Schools and Seminole County Schools are due March 1stAll applications for the James D. Eunice Legacy Scholarship are due to the Community Foundation by March 15th.  

Each scholarship has specific requirements that must be met in order to be considered.  Please be certain to that you have read each application thoroughly prior to submitting it. 

Mailing Your Application:

Mail the application to the address listed on the application.  Applications and any additional attachments should not contain any staples or binding and should be mailed in a large, flat manila envelope.  Applications should be typed or filled out neatly in ink and must be postmarked by the due date listed on the application.

Emailing Your Application:

If the application indicates that email submissions are accepted, send your application to the email address listed on the application.  Emailed application files should be sent as one continuous PDF file.  Any other type of file or jpg pictures will not be accepted.
