Donor Advised Funds

Nonprofits have the ability to establish an endowment as a means of provision for the future of their work, their mission, their programs or facility upkeep and maintenance.   Often, nonprofit board members establish these endowments for the purpose of building them over time, allowing future generations to experience the increased benefits derived from a larger fund. Organization Endowments provide a source of stable income to nonprofits who count on this funding source each year.

A field of interest fund allows donors to establish a fund to support causes they care about.  Donors are able to focus on specific areas of interest, such as the arts or environment, program initiatives or geographic locations that aren’t limited to just one organization.  Our staff helps guide you to charitable organizations that fit your interest.

A scholarship fund enables  donors to support students in achieving their dreams of higher education.  Donors are able to establish an educational scholarship fund for a specific interest, institution, or geographic area.  We administer the entire process, from the distribution of applications to disbursement of funds.

An unrestricted fund allows a donor to address a broad range of issues with their gift.  CFSGA’s board and staff has the discretion to make grants that respond to our community’s most pressing needs and opportunities such as neighborhood revitalization, education, health, and human services and beyond.  These long-term gifts have the ability to benefit the community over time, adjusting to its’ ever-changing needs.
