Grants Awarded from COVID-19 Relief Fund
In response to the global pandemic now affecting South Georgians, the Community Foundation awarded grants from the COVID-19 Relief Fund to 67 organizations across our 35 county service area to date totaling $614,900. Grants were directed to organizations working on the frontlines of the relief effort in our communities who are serving those most at-risk including seniors, children, and low-income or food-insecure individuals with access to basic needs.
Funds to support this relief effort have been raised from CFSGA’s donor advised funds, local foundations and foundations and corporations outside of South Georgia and the state.
